Revenue and Downloads are Increasing at Caesars Casino PA

The Caesars brand has advanced since the corporation debuted a new separate online casino app for consumers over the summer. Caesars had its biggest revenue month in October, and its app is becoming more popular.

Caesars Casino PA continues to garner a solid number of app downloads and is growing upward, according to Chris Krafcik, Adam Kregcik, and Brad Allen of Eilers & Krejcik Gaming and authors of The EKG Line.

Revenue and Download Share Growth at Caesars Casino PA

Pennsylvania online casinos set a new record in September and nearly broke it again in October. During those two months, the following revenue amounts were achieved:

  • September 2023: $187.3 million
  • October 2023: $186.9 million

The expansion of Caesars played a significant role in Pennsylvania, providing two of the biggest revenue totals of all time. In those successive months, Harrah’s Philadelphia license, in collaboration with Caesars and Tropicana Casino PA, likewise produced its highest-ever revenue totals:

  • September 2023: $7.5 million
  • October 2023: $8.3 million

The Caesars Palace online casino mobile app has recently paid off. According to Sensor Tower, the platform has been responsible for over 7% of downloads since August. The online casino is also receiving positive feedback. Last week’s EKG Line newsletter stated:

“The casino embedded inside the core Caesars Sportsbook app has improved considerably in our proprietary testing, and our preliminary interactions with the newer Caesars Palace app were generally positive.”

During a Q2 2023 earnings call, CEO Tom Reeg explained why Caesars decided to invest in a single online casino app:

“It’s a first-of-its-kind casino entry into our digital business.” And it’s lightyears ahead of what we’ve been doing regarding capabilities, bonusing, segmentation, proprietary games, and live dealer.”

The EKG Line anticipates that Caesars will continue expanding, particularly in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as the company refines its product.

Caesars Pennsylvania will be a Strong PA Online Casino Operator in the Future

Over the last five months, Harrah’s Philadelphia has completed the state’s fourth license. It is protected under the following licenses:

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) categorizes revenue by license rather than operator. Even though it’s impossible to say where Caesars sits, it’s in the running as one of the finest operators in Pennsylvania.

Caesars is constantly adding new games to the app as it refines it. The company recently collaborated with Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC) to add titles to its platform and Inspired Entertainment to add Hybrid Dealer games. This whole new type of gambling should be a big hit with Pennsylvania online casino gamers.

Caesars Casino PA has 293 slots, ranking 11th out of the state’s 21 operators. In total, Pennsylvania has over 8,500 slots available to online casino gamers.

Expect Caesars to continue developing and increasing as time passes, particularly in the Pennsylvania market, where growth appears to be unstoppable. Caesars will likely have another successful month when the PGCB publishes November revenue next week.
