Bally’s Reports a Successful Online Casino Opening in Pennsylvania
Bally’s Casino debuted in June and has already begun making inroads into the Pennsylvania online casino business. By day 29, the operator had generated $1 million in total revenue from gaming with $30 million in PA handle.
Bally’s first went online in New Jersey in December 2021, but it didn’t hit $1 million in gross gaming revenue until day 67. It also took till day 68 to hit $30 million in NJ handling.
In a Q2 2023 presentation, Bally stated that “all metrics point to PA being the most successful launch to date.”
Bally’s CEO and Director, Robeson Reeves, remarked on the PA launched last month:
“While it is still early, we have been pleased with the preliminary results.” We believe our early success in PA is due to our excellent brand recognition and database. We’ve barely begun to scrape the surface of our player database’s omnichannel opportunities.”
The Bally’s made $1.9 million in revenue in July, exactly $1 million higher than in June. Bally’s has already topped Unibet Casino‘s ($1.5 million) July earnings in its first whole month of operation.
While Bally’s still has a long way to go before it can compete with the industry leaders, it appears to be getting traction in Pennsylvania.
