It is said that it is better to be late than none at all. So Caesars Interactive has completed its rebranding. After the two New Jersey gambling sites merged on March 28, their iGaming sites were ultimately absorbed by Tropicana.
The announcement comes nearly a year after Caesars Casino was forced to play a secondary role to the top site, Caesars Sportsbook NJ. Caesars Casino successfully switched platforms in June to start preparing for the transition to Tropicana. Before merging, the two sites ran separately for nine months.
Continue reading to learn what changes to expect from the rebranding, no matter if you’re a Caesars or Tropicana user.

What Distinguishes CaesarsCasino.com from TropicanaCasino.com?
In summary, only a little. Caesars does not need two casinos that share the same name under its umbrella. Therefore, the rebranding took place. Furthermore, Tropicana Online Casino has been an established member of the Caesars family since 2018, and the rebranding is an opportunity to develop its brand further.
As a result, Caesars Rewards points have been earned by players at both casinos. As an outcome, Tropicana players can continue playing as usual with no interruptions.
Players should first download the Tropicana app before they can play at CaesarsCasino.com. They can then login and proceed as usual. All player login information, funds, rewards points, and more will be transferred to ensure a smooth transition.

Users of Tropicana Online could use Retail Cashiers at two Atlantic City Casinos
CaesarsCasino.com players could deposit money into their online accounts at the Caesars Palace Atlantic City cage even before the rebranding.
At AC casinos, Tropicana Online Casino players are going to have two cashier options. In addition, Caesars Palace and Tropicana Atlantic City will handle deposits and withdrawals for the online gambling app.
Participants who self-excluded along the other side before the merger was completed will be allowed to participate under state-wide rules.
How Much Will the Rebranding Affect Caesars’ Revenue?
Under state law, each land-based casino may continue to operate up to five online gambling skins. Leading up to the rebranding, Caesars’ web pages looked like this:
- Caesars Sportsbook and Casino
- CaesarsCasino.com
- 888 Casino
- Harrah’s Online Casino
- WynnBet
- PlayLive Casino PA
Tropicana Casino is run by its own license holder, which Virgin Casino previously shared. Tropicana has become the sole operator with the option to acquire a Caesars licensee close to Harrah’s Atlantic City. By combining the brands, Caesars will increase its revenue by approximately 50%.
Through February, Caesars and Tropicana ranked fourth and fifth in NJ online betting revenue, with $16.6 million and $14.5 million. The two licensees produced about $15 million per month on average, which is less than half of the state’s three leading operators, Borgata, Golden Nugget, as well as Resorts.
Even if Caesars significantly expands the Tropicana brand, it will continue to stay a distant fourth.
