Update on the Status of WynnBet PA Online Casino
WynnBet’s online casino license was approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) in December 2022. Despite PGCB permission, WynnBet must still overcome many barriers before it can operate in Pennsylvania.
If there’s one thing we can learn from launches, it’s that they take time. Doug Harbach, PGCB Director of Communications, described the following steps to CasinowatchPA WynnBet:
“WynnBet is working to complete the remaining PGCB requirements so that a test period can begin.” Much of this is due to technological requirements, which include certificates from our gaming lab,” Harbach said, adding that the PGCB hopes to debut in the “near future.”
WynnBet is going into the Pennsylvania industry as an online casino alone. The operator has yet to apply for a sports gambling license.
WynnBet Joins the Ranks of Pennsylvania Online Casinos
WynnBet will be among the five online casinos that will join the Pennsylvania market around the same time. Bally Casino went live earlier than anticipated after a three-day limited launch. Bally’s is the 20th casino company to enter the Pennsylvania market.
There will be many more, with Fanatics Casino maybe the next after successfully obtaining PointsBet’s US assets. To seal the agreement, Fanatics needed to outbid DraftKings’ late offer.
Even after acquiring PointsBet’s license, Fanatics must still complete many processes before establishing its sportsbook and its online casino.
The PGCB approved Golden Nugget Casino, which is operated by DraftKings, for licensure earlier this week.
Bet365 Casino is the sole operator whose license is still not approved. In February, the corporation submitted an application for both verticals, which will likely be decided at a later date in the future.
The Revenue Performance of Wynnbet Casino in Other States
