$2,000 Prize Money Available
This traditional March Madness bracket competition is open to anyone 21 or older who is not included on the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) exclusion list. It’s also free to enter, with $2,000 in prize money to be won.
Go to Parx, which will host the competition on its website. You must fill out a bracket to participate by selecting winners over all 63 tournament games. Also, ensure you finish it by March 21 at 12:14 p.m., when the entry period expires.
The person who creates the best bracket will receive a $1,000 first-place prize. Parx will also award $500 to the runner-up and $250 to the third-place finisher. In addition, the fourth and fifth best brackets each receive $150 and $100, respectively.
To enter, you must provide Parx with your email address, yet only two entries are permitted per email address. The first four games on March 19-20 are not counted.
Gain Points For Parx March Madness Victories
Parx will use a point-based system to score the brackets. This is how it works:
- 1 point = Round 1 wins
- 2 points = Round 2 wins
- 4 points = Sweet 16 wins
- 8 points = Elite Eight wins
- 16 points = Final Four wins
- 32 points = Championship game wins
That means you can score a max amount of 192 points for a perfect bracket.
Finally, Parx states that Parx March Madness tournament winners must physically come to the casino to claim their prize. So anyone under 21 who thinks they can play the game here should not bother.
To receive their prize, winners must also possess a Parx XClub login or create one. Of course, you’ll need a photo ID to get that.
By entering the contest online, you agree to allow Parx to contact you via email for upcoming promotions and offers.
Parx Accepts March Madness Wagers
Meanwhile, March Madness provides an excellent opportunity to visit Parx Casino’s brand-new sportsbook. Or at South Philadelphia Race & Sportsbook and the Valley Forge Race & Sportsbook, Parx’s other sports betting operations.
Parx Casino continues to operate sports betting operations from a temporary betting site that includes:
- With 20 HD TVs and two 16-by-9-foot screens, players can view up to 28 games simultaneously.
- There are seven live teller gambling windows.
- 45 sports betting self-service kiosks
- A full-service bar is available.
In conjunction with Parx March Madness, the casino provides food and drink specials at Liberty Bell Gastropub & Beer Garden. With betting kiosks throughout Parx, you can sit in the beer garden while still being close enough to a kiosk to place a wager.
On the other hand, a $10 million, 10,000-square-foot fixed sportsbook is currently being constructed, and Parx expects it to open this summer.
What Exactly is a Bracket Game?
Want to establish yourself as a workplace or family basketball expert? Do you want to see if your dog can predict the future? Then, it is where a bracket game is played.
The men’s and women’s NCAA Division I basketball tournaments begin with a bracket of 64 teams. You can have a go at trying to predict the winner of each of the 63 games before the games begin. It is entirely up to you what methodology you use, whether it is a deep dive into statistics, a coin flip, or having someone end up making picks for you.
Then, relax and relish the madness as you celebrate your victory or watch your bracket get smashed before the first weekend.
As the games develop, you’ll earn points for each correct winner you pick. Games inside the second round would be worth twice as many points as games during the first round, and so forth. At the finale of the tournament, the player with the most points in each group wins that Parx March Madness bracket gambling.
