Another PA online casino has joined the fray. Following a testing period with the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), Golden Nugget Casino PA is the 21st platform to launch in the Keystone State.

The Golden Nugget PA online casino is now available after a limited launch.
The newest PA online casino has finished its soft launch through the PGCB and is now fully operational.

Golden Nugget is the third online provider to enter the PA market this year. Tropicana Casino PA opened in late April, followed by Bally Casino in June.
The PGCB approved Golden Nugget’s application to operate in Pennsylvania in June. During a July board meeting, the PGCB then licensed the operator. Doug Harbach, PGCB Director of Communications, said on July 26 that Golden Nugget needed to test with the board before launching.
Golden Nugget faced a long road to market entry after applying for licensure through the PGCB’s Qualified Gaming Entity (QGE) process in October 2018. To launch online as a QGE, an operator does not need to collaborate with a land-based casino in the state.
What to Anticipate from Golden Nugget Casino Pennsylvania
Golden Nugget’s online casino has been organized with the same colors and sections as DraftKings’ homepage, so Pennsylvania gamers may anticipate it to look similar.
